This is how we went for Trick or Treating this year.
Halloween is around the corner, and my kids already got themselves into the spirit of this season. Let’s face it, it is much fun after all, and I was happy to make them these cupcakes last week.
It is vanilla with white chocolate chunks, and white chocolate ganache icing with few drops of violet food colour.
The cats came from a Halloween cupcake kit along with the baking cases.
Buttercream? On my cakes? Yep, that’s right. I just had to try it, and boy, I’m ever so glad I did!
They were absolutely delicious, especially that I mixed fresh raspberries in the buttercream and it wasn’t only yummy, but also beautiful.
I was ready to put a little pink food colour in the cream, but to my amazement there was no need for that. So, what you see is absolutely and 100% natural flavour and colour, it’s all raspberry!
I made these as a gift to my neighbours, a lovely family with their 4 kids.
Well, I made few mistakes spelling their names (shame on me), but luckily, I corrected them before giving away the cupcakes, unfortunately it was too late for the photos.
My little girl as a quality supervisor 🙂
Is it chocolate o’clock? Yes, always!
I bought these Belgian chocolates from Belgium when we had a family getaway last Christmas. I made these cupcakes shortly after that, but completely forgot about them, I just found these pictures on my computer.
These were simple vanilla cupcakes with white chocolate and mascarpone cream cheese frosting. Each chocolate on the top was a different kind, and I remember that my favourite was the cherry chocolate, the one with the rose print.
